The smiley face is a well-known symbol of happiness.

Everything here in my blog is free.

I do, however, accept smiles.

epicurusHedonist Philosopher Epicurus Was Right About Happiness (Mostly)
“If a little is not enough for you, nothing is.” – Epicurus
His philosophy teaches us about how to live the good life. Epicurus was a hedonist, but not in the popular modern sense. Now we tend to associate hedonism with excessive pleasure-seeking or with refined sensual pleasure. What Epicurus meant, though, was something more subtle; he certainly didn’t think the road to happiness was paved with luxury or material wealth. What he emphasized was the idea of being ‘untroubled’. Epicurus thought pleasure and pain were at the centre of human morality. His view was that pleasure and pain are so important to human existence that all our actions are governed by seeking pleasure and trying to avoid pain. Epicurus also saw the absence of pain as a pleasure in itself. Of course there is both bodily or physical pain and there is psychological pain. Epicurus emphasised the idea of being ‘untroubled’ over the positive experiences of pleasure. He thought the good life could be achieved through satisfaction that both body and mind are at peace.

positive thinkerYou are here to seek the answer to the most commonly asked question by all,

How do we make it work? Everyone wants to have happiness. But not everyone knows how to have it. Happiness, for me, is defined by the way we think. If I think I am the one of the happiest men on earth, I am. I know it’s hard to have people think like we do. Life is wonderful!🙂 Why? there are so many reasons that I and you can think of that makes our life wonderful. For me I am so blessed to have my lovely parents and I’m so grateful for the family and so many friends that love me and care about. Or I can think “My life sucks!” I just turned 27 a few months ago. I still have no sense of direction. I now realize that I am 3 years away from 30. Not that 30 is old. I’m just not where I want to be in my life right now. No real job to do, that’s how my life is at present…I do not know what I’m doing, where I’m going, or even who I am. Many things I thought I was certain of have now become questionable. Feeling sorry for yourself, and your present condition, is not only a waste of energy but the worst habit you could possibly have. Dale Carnegie

I don’t need some girls in my life for me to be happy. This line from one movie made me lolzzzzzz

Some people said “I would be happy if I had one good girlfriend.” If you don’t have her, you cannot be happy for your whole life? Learn to satisfy!😀

happiness

You can do whatever you want, guys, it’s your life. But Be Careful, take a good care of yourself, do not Step on other people shoes and do not spit on other people life and don’t force someone against their will.

The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

I just solved one of the biggest problems and then other problems come up. That’s what makes life interesting.

★Having good communication with people is happiness. When I go to Phnom Penh and I tell my friends that I am in town, many of my friends come and pick me up. And when I go to Thailand, my host family offers me a place to stay. I can feel happiness by that!😀 I do appreciate your kindness!😀

The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Be a resilient person. I am a resilient man – I won’t be unhappy for long. Just give me a couple of days and I can get over almost anything. A Resilient Individual Defined, Is This You?

                           😀 That’s why I am a thrill-seeker!😀

1. Flexibility

2. Toughness

3. Hopefulness

4. Positive Feelings

Sometimes I cannot find true contentment in life as well. But that’s how a meaningful life consists of every aspect of life, good or bad.

” Man who waits for roast duck to fly into mouth must wait very, very long time.” There are two kinds of people in this world – greedy taker of life and a generous volunteer of life. I am both of that. I seek happiness & glorious and I get some!😀

The bad days make the good ones better! Let’s do something fun! :D Let’s create a memory! To a good life! :D

How can I be happy? How do I achieve peace of mind? If you get only happiness then you don’t feel its value, do you? I was a sad man for a few years because of one thing. No matter what I did, I was not happy. And when I’ve started to enjoy my old life I feel I am happier than before. I have felt pretty awesome after reading many articles, writing several topics and hanging out with my friends. These things made me started to enjoy my old life. I just realized that there are so many wonderful things for me to enjoy. Life is filled with Pretty Things, enjoy them! Time heals all pain. If you get only happiness then you don’t feel its value, do you? It’s applicable to the word money as well.

“I smile on the outside but cry inside.” I used to have that feeling but that stuff made me value happiness.

Smiling from the inside out!🙂
I start to enjoy my life in Battambang! Thanks to my best friends and new biz!😀

Basic building stones of Happy life, plus Positive thinking and Forgive!😀

Philosophy has always been regarded as a means of discovering the secret of happiness. What really is that has the amazing power to make us happy? That gives us joy, pleasure, enormous satisfaction?
The question is how we can relate it on our daily life?
Remember that failure and disappointment are a part of life.
I sometimes got bad feeling too. That was long time ago,
I used to have a broken heart, that hurt badly.
And I called to my Daddy, just wanting to get some emotional support from him to cheer me up and he said, “We are your parents, we never hurt you and we love you as our own eye because that girl is not worth your grief”.
That was good motivation for me to move on.” and I replied Thank you Daddy !
Listen to the positive thought everytime. The influence of words is timeless, let them work for you, and remember to always carry a smile in your heart.🙂
If you’re feeling blue, how do you give yourself a happiness boost? Or, like a “comfort food,” do you have a comfort activity? (mine is travelling).
My strategy isn’t to pursue happiness as directly as others often do. It doesn’t work, at least for me, quite as well as I would wish. I’m more of a Dale Carnegie adherent. Happiness doesn’t depend on any external conditions, it is governed by our mental attitude. So I always have positive thinking!😀 I also believe in Aldous Huxley’s sayings, “Happiness is not achieved by the conscious pursuit of happiness; it is generally the by-product of other activities.” So I seek accomplishment and meaning and through these activities I find satisfaction with my life.

Positive thinking brings inner peace, success, improved relationships, better health, happiness and satisfaction. It also helps the daily affairs of life move more smoothly, and makes life look bright and promising.

Happiness is Created Through Self Awareness

Click here to see this topic: https://dydara.wordpress.com/2010/11/26/self-awareness-is-the-key-to-change-and-lasting-happiness/

Self Awareness is the Path to Self Mastery
Self Mastery is the Way to Happiness

The first step in changing the way you create your life is self awareness.

I have learned to be self-aware, and that changed a lot of perceptions about myself , other people and life. Selfawareness is the most important tool to use to enhance my self esteem, I discovered.

Although I am a happy man I still have some problems. I think everybody has a 100 problems. I don’t know that, like you are not supposed to solve them all, because the simple truth of it, it is not a problem if you think it is a problem it makes you have a problem.

Time is the best medicine for healing a broken heart.
Real tears are not those that fall from the eyes and cover the face, but those that fall from the heart and cover the soul…. !
No matter how hard it is, that time will pass.
Even if one girl makes you look stupid in love, at the smae time she taught you how to be strong and smart too.
When I do good deeds for people around me, it is my pleasure.
Enjoy Good life But Be Careful.
Hey People… a friendly advice… it’s OK to

be wild as long as we do not step on

other people shoes, as long as we do not

spit on other peoples life…

It only takes ONE wrong move,

ONE mistake, to make a lifelong agony… and

as said by the wisdom of elderly people,

what’s done cannot be UNDONE.

Enjoy good life but be careful enough

so that you will enjoy even

if you reach 80 years old

A Laugh a Day Keeps the Doctor Away !!!

treat everyone with politeness even those who are rude to you,not because they are not nice but because you are nice…

Never search your happiness in others which will make you feel alone.rather search it in yourself you will feel happy even if you are left alone…

happiness always looks small when we hold it in our hands.but when we learn to share it,we realize how big and precious it is !

We can be unhappy anytime if we are not doing something we feel good doing, so the key is to keep on doing the right thing.
Don’t get angry and envy.those things are believed to produce unhappiness.
So many ways to define happiness. Here are some definitions of happiness to inspire you.
Finding happiness is like finding yourself. You don’t find happiness, you make
happiness. You choose happiness. Self-actualization is a process of discovering who you are, who you want to be and paving the way to happiness by doing what brings YOU the most meaning and contentment to your life over the long run.
Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile.Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few dropson yourself.
“Happiness is a state of mind or feeling characterized by contentment, love,
satisfaction, pleasure, or joy”.

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” Mahatma Gandhi

“A human being is happiest and most successful when dedicated to a cause outside his own individual (Do for others more than you do for yourself.), selfish satisfaction.” Benjamin Spock

I’m sure we will learn a lot. But, before we move further, it’s a good idea to get
deeper understanding of the word happiness itself. Understanding what happiness is will give us good ground upon which to build our discussions.
Let me start with an official definition. According to Merriam-Webster’s Online Dictionary, here is the definition of happiness:
a state of well-being and contentment
a pleasurable or satisfying experience
This definition is a good starting point and we can dig deeper from it. The best
way to do that is to consult some of the greatest minds in history. So I researched what these people say about happiness and found 10 essential definitions. Each of them has deep meaning. Take your time to absorb it.
Here they are:
Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
Mahatma Gandhi
Happiness is that state of consciousness which proceeds from the achievement of
one’s values.
Ayn Rand
Happiness is something that you are and it comes from the way you think.
Wayne Dyer
Happiness is essentially a state of going somewhere, wholeheartedly, one-
directionally, without regret or reservation.
William H. Sheldon
Happiness is not a reward – it is a consequence.
Robert Ingersoll
Happiness is different from pleasure. Happiness has something to do with struggling
and enduring and accomplishing.
George Sheehan
Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence.
Aristotle
Happiness is not something you experience, it’s something you remember.
Oscar Levant
Happiness is not a station you arrive at, but a manner of traveling.
Margaret Lee Runbeck
Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.
Denis Waitley
All in all, I would say that happiness is a decision. Your happiness is your
decision to make. All the quotes above require actions on our part and actions require decisions.
So what do you think?
While direct measurement of happiness presents challenges, tools such as The Oxford Happiness Questionnaire have been developed by researchers. Positive psychology researchers use theoretical models that include describing happiness as consisting of positive emotions and positive activities, or that describe three kinds of happiness: pleasure, engagement, and meaning.
Some researchers, such as David T. Lykken, have found that about 50% of one’s happiness depends on one’s genes, based on studying identical twins, whose happiness is 50% correlated even when growing up in different houses. About 10% to 15% is a result of various measurable life circumstances variables, such as socioeconomic status, marital status, health, income, sex and others.
The remaining 40% is a combination of unknown factors and the results of actions that individuals deliberately engage in to become happier. These actions may vary between persons; extroverts, for example, may benefit from placing themselves in situations involving large amounts of human interaction. Also, exercise has been shown to increase one’s level of momentary subjective well-being significantly
Research has identified a number of attributes that correlate with happiness:
relationships and social interaction, extraversion, marital status, employment, health, democratic freedom, optimism, endorphins released through physical exercise and eating chocolate, religious involvement, income and proximity to other happy people.
Philosophers and religious thinkers often define happiness in terms of living a
good life, or flourishing, rather than simply as an emotion.
Human relationships are consistently found to be the most important correlation with human happiness.happiness in social networks may spread from person to person.
“Mind is the forerunner of states of existence. Mind is chief, and (those states)
are caused by the mind. If one speaks and acts with a pure mind, surely happiness will follow like one’s own shadow!”
“to eliminate suffering, eliminate craving,”
Christianity. They found that true happiness can only come from a relationship with God and appreciating God’s creation for their sake, not theirs own.
Happiness is characteristic of a good life, that is, a life in which a person
fulfills human nature in an excellent way. People have a set of purposes which are typically human: these belong to our nature. The happy person is virtuous, meaning they have outstanding abilities and emotional tendencies which allow him or her to fulfill our common human ends
happiness is the practice of virtue.
Happiness is something everyone wants to have. You may be successful and have a lot of money, but without happiness it will be meaningless.
Happiness is similar to darkness… You can’t measure darkness. Darkness is just theabsence of light. You can only measure light. The less light there is the darker it seems. Happiness can’t be measured either. It is the absence of negative emotions/feelings (sadness, stress, pain, suffering, etc…). the only way to achieve happiness is to find away to remove the negative feeling and emotions in your life.
Happiness is a absent of sadness.
Happy is Being especially well-adapted; felicitous.
Cheerful; willing: happy to help.Don’t worry be happy.
Sacrifice meets Goals, and Goals meets Happiness..
Shared joy is a double joy; shared sorrow is half sorrow.
Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, And the life of the
candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.
There is no cosmetic for beauty like happiness.
By all means marry: If you get a good wife, you’ll become happy; if you get a bad one, you’ll become a philosopher.
This definition of happiness by Socrates.
True joy and happiness are valuable. If one does not survive, no joy and no
happiness are obtainable.Trying to survive in a chaotic, dishonest and generally immoral society is difficult. Any individual or group seeks to obtain from life what pleasure and freedom from pain that they can. Your own survival can be threatened by the bad actions of the others around you.Your own happiness can be turned to tragedy and sorrow by the dishonestly and misconduct of others.
“It is in your power to point the way to a less dangerous and happier life.”
“The way to happiness is a high-speed road to those who know where the edge are. You’re the driver.”

I hope this page can spread happiness to everyone !🙂
