Summer Youth Camp 2010

Summer Youth Camp is just end but Our friendship is just begin !!!!!!!

Summer Youth Camp was awesome. I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

It’s time to camp in my home country. In this camp I have learned more about history and culture of my beautiful country. I have learn new things and have share experiences with each other.

300 of Cambodian youths go to summer youth camp to delight not only time out from home, just to study or experience new things. Summertime youth camps as well provide a way for youths of all ages and backgrounds to diversify their views and experience new situations, particularly when youngsters from various parts of the city come together under one roof.

The Ministry of Education Youth and Sport organized the summer Youth Camp 2010 on 3-13 August,2010 at Siem Reap on the theme of ‘‘Cambodia, My homeland’’


To deepen the participants’ knowledge on the spirit of National Identity

To educate participants to find out and understand about their motherland, life style, national heritage, tradition, culture, Khmer classes, Khmer dance, music, cuisine and especially the development for all aspects of the country led by the Royal Government of Cambodia

To broaden and strengthen network and cooperation with Cambodian expatriates

To participate and develop the country

To give the opportunity to Cambodian expatriate youth to meet other expatriate Khmer youth from other countries.

Date: 3 to 13 August 2010

Venue: Siem Reap, Kingdom of Cambodia

300 participants: from 32 universities and 2 youth associations. They were selected by their universities.
