Love Knows No Boundaries

I publish it especially for my dream girl’s birthday! 🙂 I was really excited by just the thought of the pictures and the words I wanted to include here! 😀

About 20 years ago today, one of the most beautiful women gave birth to the most wonderful woman I have ever known.

To her I say: Thanks. Thanks for raising such a wonderful, caring, sensitive, and strong woman. Thanks for teaching her what’s right and what’s wrong. Thanks for showing her that love and affection are wonderful things to have and to give in life.

To my special friend I say: Happy Birthday to you, my dream girl! I’m so glad you were born, because you brighten my life and fill it with joy. You are the perfect girl I have ever met. I love you more than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow! You are always in my mind and in my heart. You are very charismatic, beautiful, smart, talented, and seems almost the most ideal female.  I’ve always liked you! Do you have any idea how much I like you?

This novel is also dedicated to Suon Sopheaktra and Thul Thavry! Thank you so much for correcting my grammatical errors. It’s very kind of you to help me in this matter. I couldn’t have done it without you! You saved my day. I appreciate that 😀

I only have my heart as a gift for you, do you want it? If you don’t want my heart and then throw it away. But I want to tell you something, the one who get hurt is not me, but you! You know why? Because you are in my♥heart! 😀

She is the most amazing woman I have ever met. យើស! គីង្គក់ចង់ស៊ីសាច់ក្ងានសួគ៌ផងយើង អស់សំណើចខ្លួនឯង

My dream almost come true this year: I had enough budget to visit South Korea but because of one thing I cancelled my trip. And I bought this MacBook Pro. She does not know how much one date with her mean to me. I think that is not too much to ask for! Just for one and for all.
That would mean the world to me. 03-Sep-2012

The author’s point of view: It’s a valuable piece of work for me, the time and the thought I spent writing this story. I hope she will understand my sincere appreciation to her. She is the perfect girl I’ve ever met. After the many hours that I’ve put into it, it will surely remind me that I’ll forever keep her in my memory. Something that means a lot to me means nothing to others.

Remember, those whose lives you have touched and who have touched yours are always a part of you! Real example: This happen to me all the time, when I am half way drunk the beautiful smile picture of my dream girl come to my mind but when I wake up in the middle of the night and I am sick I miss my ex lover who used to come to take care me! 😀

I just want you to know how I am feeling about you. I didn’t expect anything from you. “Expect Nothing And You Won’t Be Disappointed.” This is what I always keep in my mind. I just learned this saying “You can win life by all means..Yes..If you simply avoid two things…
1. Comparing – with others 2. Expecting – from other  Life will be more beautiful!!” Oh, but I still have one favor to ask you, “one date” If you ignore this again, it’s ok, I used to that. 😀 I am good at seeing the humor on my hurtful situations.

It’s more than a novel to me! 😀

I know this is not a novel! I am a man who likes to play by my own rules. If there is no rules then Dara’s rules. I want to have the strength of a lion and the soul of a poet. I hope I am on my way to have these things. hehehe just kidding! Judge me all you want, but keep the verdict to yourself. :P “Wise men may not be learned; learned men may not be wise” I think this saying is also apply to poets and novelists!

This is my first fiction romance novel. A story based on true events and true feelings! 😀

Writer, know the story. You can write to discover the story, or you can discover the story and then write it. I’ve done it both ways!

This story is about the man who has one-sided love and he is so obsessed with his dream girl. A Cambodian man falls in love with his foreign friend. He believes a friend can turn into a lover. It sounds impossible to the one who never try. Don’t wait until it’s too late to tell someone how much you love, how much you care. Because when they’re gone, no matter how loud you shout and cry, they won’t hear you anymore. There is no going back. Try it! If you don’t try, you’ll never know.

I’m not sure whether to tell her or not. I’m hesitating even as I write this novel.

Written By: Dy Dara

To read require patience! I hope you enjoy reading this novel! 😀

From my experience I can tell you this “Every time I was with my ex-lover, in that moment it was as if we became one person.  I had the most incredible time with her, I really had.  The day that I was with her it’s like the greatest day of my life! Best feeling in the world! 🙂 I am sure that is my ultimate pleasure. I’m proud of that.”

Do you know what love is?
It’s a kind of feeling. Lovers would share the same thought, and miss each other. Share sorrow and happiness, and keep the others in mind. That’s love.

A great relationship is when you feel completely at home with another person. You can talk to them about anything and you don’t need to always be kissing them to feel happy and where you can be more yourself. You can see your future through him or her. It’s comfortable to be around your lover. They bring out the best in you, and make you a better person.

“Love is like heaven but hurts like hell.”

“Real tears are not those that fall from the eyes and cover the face but are those that fall from the heart and cover the soul.”

★In term of friendship nothing beats drinking with the best buddies and talking about our old days. It’s so great.

♥In relationship nothing beat this: It’s amazingly sweet and mesmerizing!

I love you very much, probably more than anybody could love another person. You are the fire that burns the passion within my soul.

Love Knows No Boundaries: Part 1

Hankuk University of Foreign Studies

There is a story behind this picture! Who can tell me after reading this story in one sentence which is best describe author’s idea.

To me: That person is in South Korea! 🙂 I met her once and I really want to meet her again! 🙂

If you’ve ever read this saying “A man can love a million girls, but only real man who can love one girl in a million ways” then you’ll know how the man feels. He loves one girl, he loves her with all his heart and love everything about her, the way she smiles, the way she walks, the way she talks and even when she ignores him, he still likes her.

Have you ever heard about love moves in mysterious ways? or love happens when you least expect it? It happened to the man in this story.

“Not a day goes by I don’t think about two people and two journeys! The two people are my ex-lover and the girl of my dreams. And the journeys are SSEAYP and peace boat, the journey in my dreams. The ex-lover and SSEAYP are the past which can’t come back, but you know, in life, the first act, always exciting. The girl of my dreams and the journey in my dreams are just the dreams. But these dreams give me smile and hope!” the obsessed man said happily.

Lee is a small-town boy who knows what he wants and knows how to get it. He always get what he wants. However, throughout the remarkable journey of his life, Lee never forgets June, his dream girl. He cannot make her love him back! But she always lives in his heart.

The story begins on the day when two fellow of youth camp, Lee and June, two good friends, were grouped together on a bus going somewhere. They don’t have anything much in common. The man is very extrovert and the girl is more of discreet and very decent girl. Love is funny, isn’t it? They participated in Youth Camp for Asia’s Future 2008 in South Korea. It was where the man first met June and it was immediately clear to him that she was a great woman. He never knows that Pinay girl were up to this beautiful. Lee was a participant who represents Cambodian youth and June was from Philippines. They didn’t meet each other often during the program but she still impressed him the most out of Youth Camp girls by her beauty and personality. “Our meeting was coincidence or fate, I was not sure about that but I meet hundreds of people, and none of them really touch me. And then I meet you, I have a very strong feeling for you. Our meeting is just one small thing in a big world but just the fact that we met is a miracle!” Lee had this feeling

The man thought of her “To me, June is very charismatic, majestic (beautiful, powerful or causing great admiration and respect), beautiful, smart, talented, seems almost the most ideal female and whatever that is perfect can describe her. You know why I used the word almost here because it’s one-sided love and she does not return my love! What a loser! 😀

I also tried to forget her with these ideas “There are more than one girl in the world! Women fill up half of this world. She’s not the only one! There are so many of them” and  “Life is too short to spend it pining for someone who doesn’t see you as the great person you are. There are those out there who will. I am a resilient man – I won’t be unhappy for long. Just give me a couple of days and I can get over almost anything.” No matter what I think of, I just cannot forget you. I know that I could never find that feeling with anyone other than you. This lyric reflects the man’s love,

“Love you, only if you knew: I don’t understand why it must be you to be the one in my heart? I have met many people but it must be you eventually who are in my heart. Love is not a coincidence, love can connect you with me. There’s only heart that knows who is the one in my dream. You’re the one I’ve been waiting, because the heart is begging. Cause the heart is calling for, born to be your forever. It’s because my heart never confused. It’s certain that you are the only one. There are not many reasons. It just my heart chooses you.”

Whenever I listen to any song I think about you, every song reminds me of your beautiful smile… your picture come to my mind from the bottom of my heart to the depths of my soul! You are also under my skin, and crawling deeper every day! 🙂

“Time decides whom you meet in life. Your heart decides whom you want in life. but your behavior decides who will stay in your life.”

Click on the picture to see the topic called “How to be a sweet person”

She is truly a sweet person. Other qualities she has that make her an outstanding woman. She not only has the outer beauty but also has the inner beauty. I like the way she treats people nicely. “One thing I love the most about youth camp is know her. It is my honor to know you, June. With lots of♥love and hopes to a long lasting friendship. You are always in my mind and in my heart. I’m glad to have you! Just wanted to remind you how special you are!” From your public admirer! Former Secret Admirer,” he concluded about the program.

Lee’s life is very interesting when he is on youth exchange program. Youth is a once in a lifetime gift, make it memorable and meaningful which means we should make memorable fun, memorable achievement and at the same time make a meaningful contribution to the world. Youth Camp for Asia’s future is the second best program after SSEAYP but he likes his fellas AYC more because he met one perfect girl.  He said “I am very grateful that I have been a part of these two awesome programs; it gives me a great sense of pride.  SSEAYP shaped my interest in patriotism, volunteer, culture, share and contribute to society. Without SSEAYP, I don’t know what my life would be. It was the opportunity of a lifetime.” Because of these programs he spent six months to work in poor communities. Every coin has two sides. In other words, there are two sides of every story. Lee is not that great, he is both of greedy taker of life and generous volunteer of life. Lee’s motto is, “Being a hedonist is a philosophical way of my life which means I like to live and behave in ways that I can get as much pleasure out of life as possible according to the belief that the most important thing in life is to enjoy yourself. Also, I like to learn, to experience and to explore life. I just wanna live my life to the fullest. nothing more, nothing less. Lee’s Endless Party! 😀 Never stop the party. I am a party person looking for a good time. Life is filled with pretty things, enjoy them!”

After returning to their respective countries, they keep in touch on the Internet but not often. When the man chatted with her, he really loved the way she expressed her ideas. By doing so the man started to like her more and more. Usually, he didn’t chat or comment with her because he thought that would annoy her. But he did check her Facebook photos all the time.

Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.

Lee tagged June in this picture and she wrote, “I remember when we were on a bus going somewhere… I was sitting beside Jayson and you were sitting right next to the other Lee (How is he?? The guy who studied law…) and you told us you had been to the Philippines… to Parañaque to be exact, and some parts of Metro Manila I believe… And then you played back a duet by Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales from your phone which Jayson and I had never heard before… Remember??? Hehe!”

The man replied, “Yeah absolutely I remember that. It’s actually our first conversation that ever took place.Oh yeah other Lee I dun no abt him. Yeah u got a good memory, June :) and that time you gave me one piece of small cake and we talked about your face, and I said, “You dun look like truly Pinay.hahahah !:)” It is nice to revise our memory and can be fun as well !Ha hahaha:)”

She responded, “Oh I don’t remember the cake part! Hahaha! =D”

The man tagged the girl in this picture and she wrote, “I think you have a great passion for life and you just can’t hold it in.. You can’t contain it so you share what you know about life to as many people as possible through your blogs… You are a people person… always trying to connect with those who happen to cross your path. :D

The man replied, “Wow, you really know me. I’m impressed with your words here. Yeah I like to share! :D “Happiness always looks small when we hold it in our hands but when we learn to share it, we realize how big and precious it is!” I don’t think I am really a people person. Miss you, take care, June :) From Your Secret Admirer! PS: Don’t Feel Embarrassed by my words here, ok?”, he added this comment, “You are really an understanding person! :D You have many talented. That’s amazing. Any other hidden talents I should know about?:D”

On social network, the man tried to ask the girl many times about one date. “I was really excited by just the thought of us having dinner together.” He would like to have one dinner and go to cinema together. He asked his dream girl just for once and for all. The girl did not response to his wish. “Can you do this for a friend, ok? Is it too much to ask for? You’ll learn to love me if you give me one chance it’s like you give yourself one chance as well! ” He tried to convince her.

I’m absolutely head over heels for♥you! Finally, the girl was tagged in this picture! Words attach human’s mind strongly. You rarely say a word to me but when you do it does make me feel love, hurt, and warm! 😀

Lee! It just didn’t. We’re better off as friends, anyway. Besides, I didn’t really think l could…fall in love with someone like you. That’s why..

Boy: Why not? I mean, I’m kinda perfect. No seriously June, what’s wrong with me?

Girl: There’s nothing wrong with you… Lee, I don’t want to talk about this. You’ll feel bad..

Why would I feel bad? It’s not as if l’m in love with you! Come on, we can talk about this..

I think.. you’re still a kid. A bit immature.. childish. You’re just not what l’m looking for.

Ok, this is going to be fun! What are you looking for, June?

I guess someone who is independent, for starters, someone with a career, a goal in life. Somebody I can relate to. In short, a MAN.. not a boy!

Basically, the exact opposite of me!

Basically.. You’re the wrong profile for me, Lee.

Actually, you’re right. I’m too young for you. You should go out with someone your own age.

An illness related to love… Various symptoms, including nausea, dizziness and insomnia.
Can get serious very quickly and has been known to be deadly! 😦 Almost throwing up blood on my keyboard in anticipation of getting comment from you. 😦

Warning: People with weak heart do not watch this video!  May cause heart attack!

June commented after watching it: I hated you for a few minutes, Lee! I knew it. I watched it alone in my dorm! 😀

Lee always remember all of June’s comments!

Lee: Hehehehe I got you!:P Sorry! Did you love me for a few minutes when I tagged you in a very good video? Hehehe 😛

The best touching video: A letter from Mom and Dad

The man came across this quote, and it inspired him. No offense to anybody out there! “Women are like apples on trees, the best ones are on the top of the tree. The men don’t want to reach for the good ones, because they are afraid of falling and don’t want to get hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that is not so good but easy. So, the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who’s brave enough to climb all the way to the top because they value quality.”

He has been secretly in love with her for 3 years and one day he realized that he had very strong feelings for her that he won’t be able to hide and he didn’t want to hold it in. He would like to talk about it and smile at what was on his mind. He wrote an article on his blog describing his affection for her “You are and will always live in my heart.” He hasn’t had a girlfriend for the last few years. He didn’t have any girlfriend nor does time for any romance but he had one girl that lived in his♥heart.

The obsessed man had her photo stick into his room wall and sometimes he looked at the picture and asked “Where can I find a Cambodian girl who has that kind of personality?” As his love grows days from days, his dream girl became his dream wife. Lee had a rebellious attitude, so he thought “Only that kind of woman could bring out the best in me, and makes me a better person. And I could live with her for the rest of my life” “We would make an adorable couple.” He smiled
He thought “To marry someone you love and have a happy married life is like hitting the jackpot!”

“I’ve always been obsessed with my dream girl” This sentence is always on his mind. One day the man came up with this idea: Lee tried to find South Korea short courses scholarship; he wanted that scholarship was just to get closer to her. But he could not find it on the Internet. So he came up with another idea. The man’s greatest enthusiasm is travelling. He saves up his money every day for his monthly trip. He has not had travelled for six months and he saved enough money to buy an air ticket to visit her. He is from Cambodia which is a developing country, so it is so hard to get South Korea visa. He tried all his best to get it. When he arrived in South Korea, the first place he went to was Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. He was waiting for her outside of the university with his excited face, and without letting her knows his presence. He will also prepare himself for the disappointing moment, if the girl ignored him when she sees him. He is still happy to see her from a distance.

To Be Continued

Do you want to read part 2? If yes, then buy me an air ticket and get me South Korea visa. I will tell you about part 2 of this story. Hehehehehh just kidding! 😀

(The fact behind this story: The author posted a link of this story on the girl’s Facebook’s wall but she deleted it immediately after the man shared. He is deeply disappointed, but he is not mad at her. He knows that she is a very decent girl, so what he has done is embarrassing and annoys her. I am truly sorry, and please don’t hate me. If it was a mistake, it was just a mistake of enthusiasm. I cannot believe myself, I am a real easy-going person but I could get hurt easily by that thing. Maybe I attached too much important to her. I keep coming back to Facebook because of one person and now she finds me annoying. So Facebook is no longer important to me. I will leave it for good. The longest time I could deactivate from FB was about 2 and half months. I used to say that I will activate my FB on special occasion like X-mas and New Year, but now I changed my mind. I’ve had enough of it! 😦 )

I wish this novel makes into a Thai movie. It’s kind of romance comedy movie. I want to bring this back into life. I could add some comedy scenes to make this project more interesting. There are three videos here as an example of fun moments. Check it out!

If you’ve met or seen her personally, you would know she’s a larger-than-life personality.

They are not worth it!

Filed under: Stories with morals — dydara @ 10:24 pm

They are not worth it!

Based on true story:

You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough.

Once upon a time, there was a small-town boy after he finished high school in his hometown, he went to university in Phnom Penh. His parents bought him a house and a car after studying in Phnom Penh for a while. While he lived in the city, he made a lot of friends. One of his biggest challenges living in the capital city was that he lived alone, only with a housekeeper. But it was ok he could take care of himself. Living outside of the home he felt he needed friends and a girlfriend. He liked being around people. Sometimes, his friends came to have party and sleep-over at the boy’s house. The man had one beautiful girlfriend and he loved his girlfriend with all his heart. Every time he is with his lover, in that moment it was as if they became one person. They were so in love with each other. The girl was one of the best gifts that ever happened to his life. He had the most incredible time with her. He really had. He’s so proud of that. He had great love chemistry with his partner. A great relationship is when you feel completely at home with another person. You can talk to them about anything and you don’t need to always be kissing them to feel happy. They bring out the best in you, and make you a better person. Here come to the sad part. Because of some reasons they broke up.  As this relationship came to an end, as most things do. He was a broken heart man who felt hopeless. This person can’t believe himself that he was an optimist who had too much optimism in almost anything but when it comes to grief of relationship breakup, he could not overcome it. He can get enough of everything, but he cannot get enough of his lover.

He was grief and felt his life was meaningless. Starting to go out every night he could not find any girl like her. One day he and his other two friends parked his car waited to meet one person, but there was one car drove by very rich person, that man wanted to hit with the boy’s car. The rich man drove very fast toward the grief man’s car but he put on his brakes. That time the boy was fearless. He was the kind of guy, you put a gun to his head and his pulse wouldn’t break 70. He has enjoyed his life enough so he doesn’t value his life. This person was not scare but he wanted to hit with that car, but in that moment he was thinking of his two friends who was with him and what he wanted to do will cause a huge grief to his family. He also thought “The driver is not worth it and I will not do anything stupid. No one was crazy enough to mess with that rich man. He just thought that rich man was lucky if he had final cancer stage he would end up his life with that driver. If something wrong happened that day, you would not read this story.

The moral of the story:

All the bad people, they are not worth your problem. You should have the courage to walk away from unnecessary conflict.

Be patient because one moment of impatience can ruin a whole life.

“If you can control one moment of anger, you can escape hundred days of sorrow”

We need to consider our actions and what the consequences will be.

One life is connected to many hearts. When you have a problem or lose your life, it can damage the heart of your friends, loved one, relatives and especially your parents.

“Sometimes you have to lose something, to realize what you had.” In other words, you don’t know how it feels to lose a loved one until it happened. If you want to keep a great relationship last long, you have to work hard. Also, sometimes you have to sacrifice, so as to fulfill your dream. You have to grab the chance. If you don’t grab the chance, it’ll be gone.

“Treat everyone with politeness even those who are rude to you, not because they are not nice but because you are nice!” If you do the same as them, you’re no different from them.

From the author’s point of view: I’ve made a lot mistakes in my life but I’ve learned from them, lesson learned. There’s more to learn. Don’t copy my bad actions. What’s done cannot be UNDONE.

When I hurt myself from drinking too much alcohol, I realized that I didn’t know how to take care myself. Take care mean be careful, don’t get into trouble, take a good care of myself. It basically means to eat healthy, and live healthily so I don’t get sick from neglecting my needs or health. And also the obvious things like not to do anything potentially dangerous. I used to drink alcohol a lot and I could not sleep at regular time and I thought I am a man, it was ok. Right now I know it is not about proving myself a man, it is about taking a good care of myself. If I am not taking care of my health, I will hurt myself. From now on I will take a good care of myself.

You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough. Life is a great teacher! There’s a lot to live for in this life. Life is an ice cream, enjoy it before it melts! Youth is a once in a lifetime gift. Make it memorable and meaningful.

Before, I was a dare-devil when I got drunk and sad, I drove very fast, it could get me killed and others too, without realizing the value of life. That was the stupidest thing I did. ហេងដែរឆ្លងផុត!!! Now, no more.

Taking a good care of your life, my friends! Be patient and tough; some day this pain will be useful to you.

 With Gratitude,

The moral lesson of cinderella story

Filed under: Stories with morals — dydara @ 8:21 pm

Check this out “Love Knows No Boundaries” My first fiction romance novel. A story based on true events and true feelings! :D  https://dydara.wordpress.com/2011/11/20/love-knows-no-boundaries/

I think most people know about Cinderella story, so I just go straight to the moral lesson.

What is the moral of the story to Cinderella?

In Cinderella, the theme of the story is that you should treat people the way you would like to be treated and then more good comes out of it than evil. This is the theme because the two evil sisters and the wicked step-mother were really mean to her and when they went out they left poor Cinderella to wash the floor. But then in the end Cinderella gets to be the prince’s princess and the others didn’t get a sniff of it. Good always win in the end despite how evil has been planning & being a good person with a good heart will always get you to what you want. The richer person with the higher statues isn’t the better person or more beautiful one and in the end the poorer person will have the better ending. Moreover, Everybody will get their prince. maybe not as outlandish as in Cinderella but someone worthwhile. The moral to Cinderella is no matter what your situation is- don’t give up on your dreams. The moral was probably something about hope and how if you’re a good person, your dreams will become a reality. This is also about hope, faith, enduring, goodness over selfishness, beauty over ugliness.  It’s a great fairytale!

Good things happen to A Good person! 😀

I can write something from my stupid mistakes into good lessons because of my self-awareness and with humble attitude I can expand that idea.

I would like to add some more ideas, Believe me! Whatever you do, it’ll cost something or you have to pay the price for that. No matter how much you change, you still have to pay the price for the thing you’ve done. The good things I do, it will pay me a very pleasant price:) and the bad things I do, it will pay me a very unpleasant price:( People will get what they deserve. Some people are evil and they will deserve what awaits them. So be careful what you wish for!

I’m not old-fashioned in my way of thinking; but I am not become too concerned with material matters, but instead place immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart. Beauty only gets attention but personality captures the ♥heart♥ . “The outside beauty lasts no more than a second. The inside lasts more than a lifetime”

Are you rich or poor

Filed under: Stories with morals — dydara @ 9:29 pm

One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son,

“How was the trip?”

“It was great, Dad.”

“Did you see how poor people live?” the father asked.

“Oh Yeah” said the son.

“So what did you learn from the trip?” asked the father.

The son answered, “I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us; they have friends to protect them.

With this the boy’s father was speechless. Then his son added, “Thanks, dad, for showing me how poor we are.” Too many times we forget what we have and concentrate on what we don’t have. What is one’s person’s worthless object is another’s prize possession. It is all based on one’s perspective.

When we take time to measure what we have, the result is our perception of life.

If we have love, friends, health, sense of humour and positive thinking, we have everything in life.

If we are poor of spirit then … we have a problem!

Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for all the bounty we have instead of worrying about wanting more. Take joy and appreciate every single thing you have, especially your parents, lover and friends.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them,
but then an entire life to forget them. Send this phrase to the people you’ll never forget.
If you don’t send it to anyone, it means you’re in a hurry and that you’ve forgotten your friends.
Take the time to live!

Do not value the THINGS
you have in your life. But value WHO you have in your life!
Life’s short. If you don’t look around once in a while, you might miss it. There is no going back!

LESSON: It’s not about money that makes us rich, it’s about simplicity and having a good heart in ourselves.

It got me thinking, many of my friends admire the life I have and they are so rich, however, they do not seem satisfied enough.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens

This topic is dedicated to my beloved lecturer Mealea. Thank you so much for a lovely recommendation letter. That’s very sweet of you to help me in this matter. It means a lot to me. I’d like to say thank you again. I wish you all the best to you and your family. Take care! 😀

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.” Helen Keller

A note of inspiration and encouragement to help some people keep striving towards their goals, hopes and dreams.

Basically it means that when something good in your life finishes you spend so long regretting its loss that you ignore other chances for happiness. It means do not waste time on negatives, because you might miss positives while you are sad.

I’ve learned that you can’t have everything and do everything at the same time– Oprah Winfrey

You just cannot have it all.  Dy Dara

I am a man full of contradictions. I could go through it and show the numerous contraction of me. I have the best parents in the world but I have the most unsupported brother on the planet!

When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but combines with my positive thinking make it enough!” Recently I am in a good mood, for some unknown reasons, I’m feeling fresh and so happy. Sometimes I drive on the way, I can’t stop smiling. Although I am a very happy man I still have some problems. I’m more of a Dale Carnegie adherent. Happiness doesn’t depend on any external conditions; it is governed by our mental attitude. He is completely right. So I always have positive thinking!

My life is full of blessings and curses!  “When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile.”

Life is wonderful! 🙂
Why? there are so many reasons that I and you can think of that makes our life wonderful. For me I am so blessed to have my lovely parents and I’m so grateful for the family and so many friends that love me and care about. Or I can think “My life sucks!” I just turned 27 a few months ago. I still have no sense of direction. I now realize that I am 3 years away from 30. Not that 30 is old. I’m just not where I want to be in my life right now. No real job to do, that’s how my life is at present…I do not know what I’m doing, where I’m going, or even who I am. Many things I thought I was certain of have now become questionable. Feeling sorry for yourself, and your present condition, is not only a waste of energy but the worst habit you could possibly have. Dale Carnegie

Choices In Life

Any change, any loss, does not make us victims.
Others can shake you, surprise you or disappoint you.
But they can’t prevent you from moving on. No matter where you are in life, no matter what your situation, you can always do something. On every turn of life, you will always have a choice. And that choice can be your power. The choice is always in our own hands!

You cannot choose where to be born, but you can choose where to walk!

I never feel alive like this for the last few years! 😀

I was a broken heart man who needs mending. Recently I have felt pretty awesome after reading many articles, writing several topics and hanging out with my friends. These things made me start to enjoy my old life. I just realized that there are so many wonderful things for me to enjoy. Life is filled with Pretty Things, enjoy them! Time heals all pain. A few years ago I was not so happy because my heart was broken but I had big budget for travelling. Right now I don’t have that much money but I still travelling cheap especially when money was the big issue but it got me thinking, I am happier than the last few years. You know what the happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

“For everything you have missed, you have gained something else, and for everything you gain, you lose something else.”

I’ll be happy once I’ve done this certain thing.
We all say this often not realizing what it brings. What if you can not have them you cannot have happiness? We look only to the future for our happiness. Letting life slip through our fingers in.

This wasn’t supposed to happen…it wasn’t meant to be…No matter how hard I try, I fail!

Life doesn’t always turn out exactly how you plan it. Sometimes it turns out better.

In 2007, I failed to get my student visa for my study in USA,  but one year later, I visited Australia and I was selected by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport as a national leader of Cambodian contingent, to lead a group of Cambodian youth delegates during the course of the Youth Camp for Asia’s Future 2008 program, in South Korea. Moreover, I can have good communication with my god brothers and many friends, but I just can’t have good communication with my own brother. I have the most unsupported brother in the world. But Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate him! 😀

I love to travel

I love to travel

I was a NL of Youth Contingent!

We must always remember that in this journey to our purpose, our success and our happiness that when a door closes it is not the end of the road but it actually might be a blessing in disguise. As we work towards or goals, wants and dreams we tend to hit obstacles, walls or things just do not go our way. Keeping our courage and facing those will allow us to come that much closer to what we are striving for. Understanding and keeping faith that when one door closes another will open can allow you to not miss those opportunities that are so often skipped over because of focusing on what we cannot control.

Hold on tight, keep your dreams and hopes close and never feel discouraged when a door closes as that just might be the reason success will come your way. Stay open, positive and happy with the results in life from your hard work, heart and passion. Make the best of the situation and only focus on what you can control.

You do not want to miss an open door because you are focusing too much on the closed door…

Philosophy has always been regarded as a means of discovering the secret of happiness. What really is that has the amazing power to make us happy? That gives us joy, pleasure, enormous satisfaction?
The question is how we can relate it on our daily life?
I can relate good sayings to my daily life, for example: No one can hurt your feeling unless you let them or deserve it. I just realized what this sentence mean. When we haven’t been in the situation, we don’t know what this sentence is about.
Remember that failure and disappointment are a part of life.
If you get only happiness then you don’t feel its value, do you?
Life is always full of ups and downs. We should not feel depressed when things are not going our way. Instead we should motivate ourselves to overcome the hurdle and enjoy life.

When all’s well with the world, we should not be overjoyed. Everything is temporary, life is always changing.

Look at the whole picture, never at parts of our life. And we should not be involved with each event. Take each incident as it happens and don’t attach too much importance to the outcome.

“A man can succeed at almost anything for which he has unlimited enthusiasm.”
Charles M. Schwab
Listen to the positive thought every time. The influence of words is timeless, let them work for you, and remember to always carry a smile in your heart.
Everyone cannot succeed in everything they do, but just keep trying. Failing does not mean the end of everything. You should keep yourself-belief, find out your weak point and improve it. Failing to achieve is not a failure, but losing your hope and motivation is a true failure. What I am saying here is not teaching you. I am not qualified to teach anyone, but I just want to share some ideas with you guys, audiences.  If you’ve never failed you’ve never tried.

I am a good many things, but a businessman I am not I mean I am not good at making money. It’s like a pain in the ass. The highest views of my blog is about 400 views per day and I want to make my money from my blog and I don’t know how! The people around me have everything, my brother and some of my friends make a lot money. How about me? I just save up my money every day to take my monthly trip. When I thought about it, this idea came to my mind “You can win life by all means..Yes..
If you simply avoid two things…
1. Comparing – with others
2. Expecting – from other
Life will be more beautiful!!” And I feel better! 🙂 09.12.2011

Life is a journey. Enjoy the ride! 😀

I hope this writing can spread happiness to everyone!

The Man, the Boy, and the Donkey

Acting like I don’t care about some people, when deep down I really care♥ about my parents, lover and friends.

I like to do whatever I want. But whatever I do, I just don’t step on other people's shoes, do not spit on other people's life and don't force someone against his or her will. I can do whatever I want with my life. This is my life. 🙂 Sometimes I can hurt someone, unintentionally. I am sorry about that! 🙂

Many people find me weird, I’ll tell you what. I have a happy and meaningful life than those who said that. 😀 13.03.2011

Is there a story affect your life?

Sometimes, I wonder why some people are so good to me, I don’t have anything for them and I don’t understand what I did, to make some people dislike me. I don’t know why and I don’t care. I’m Just Trying to Do the Best I Can. I cannot please everyone. Judge me all you want, but keep the verdict to yourself.

It’s your life and you’ll live it the way you want to. We live only one life, live it YOUR way!!

Stop Trying to Please Everyone: Live Your Way. Don’t get me wrong, you should know how to get along with people as well.

Shrug something off (as something) and pass something off (as something) to ignore something unpleasant or offensive as if it meant something else.

Choose your social environment carefully and express yourself

Stop justifying yourself or explaining your heart’s desires to people who are prisoners of conventional wisdom and status quo. Don’t blame them either, they simply won’t understand you because they’re conditioned by their own limiting beliefs.

Some people were all somehow unconventional and expressed similar experiences:

  • They were considered a bit crazy by their family, colleagues or society.
  • They had a dream they were obsessed with.
  • They realized that their social environment was not supportive enough
for their vision to become a reality.
  • They found the courage in themselves to follow their own path.
  • They quit their country to live their dreams somewhere else.
  • They rebuilt their social network.
  • They expressed no regrets.                                                                                                                                All these extraordinary individuals had to face incomprehension and hostility from their environment because of their ideas or lifestyle. However, they overcame these limits and designed the life they had dreamed of.
  • Whatever you dreams, lifestyle or path in life, you need a positive and supportive social environment to express yourself and grow. Our society doesn’t always encourage differences:
  • Uncommon beliefs and ideas
  • Alternative lifestyles
  • Unconventional physical appearances
  • Religious expression
  • Cultural differences
  • If you are in this situation, do not isolate yourself and let frustration grow. You may not be understood by your family, your colleagues or society, but you have received the birthright to be different and unique; It’s printed in your DNA. Even if your DNA may not determine your beliefs or preferences, you are you, and for that reason you deserve to express your personality and be happy.Sometimes, the best solution to find a supportive social environment is to redesign your own. You don’t necessarily need to quit your hometown or your country, but you can :
    • Carefully choose supportive and respectful friends.
    • Get a coach who will listen and help you express your potential.
    • Build your own community on Internet.
    • Advertise to meet people with same interests or lifestyles
    • Join or set up a mastermind group of people who have similar objectives in order to share ideas, strategies, successes and failures and grow together.

Choose your environment carefully and don’t let anyone or anything stands on your way to happiness. This is your birthright!

Once for all, accept who you are;  you may not be perfect according to social standards, but you are you, and there is no other way to live your life.

If u don’t Truly know me then don’t judge me. if u think u know me n u don’t like me, then plz make ur way out of my life. Haters are not needed. Thks 😀
The more mercy you have, the less hatred you have. Peace V

You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.

Maybe This is the reasons why people are like this:

They are close minded. They think that everyone must follow the same template for life: go to school, get a stable job, get married and have kids. If you deviate, you are deviant. I’ve never been afraid of any deviation. I don’t give a damn what other people say. I go my own true way. That works a whole lot better.

They chose that path for some selves and now they regret it. So if they see someone else having the guts to not blindly follow that path like sheep unlike them, it threatens their own sense of self. they don't want people to have the guts to do what they couldn't do - i.e. live their own lives according to what they feel is right for them rather trying to pretend they're happy about it.

There are a lot of problems with living a life designed to fit everyone else’s expectations of you, though. The top three, as I see it, are:

.You can’t please everyone
.Their expectations may be based on a narrow, inaccurate view of you
.Your values could be wildly different from theirs.

Have You Ever Wondered Why people act the way they do or you behave as you behave?

Everyone behaves the way that they do because they are acting through a filter of the rocks (values, assumptions, beliefs, and expectations) that they carry around.

Individuality is not a trait shared by everyone. I Respect the individuality of others and be accepting of individual differences. But some people don’t understand mine. Some people find me weird. I am a carefree person, I don’t care what others think about me because I can’t control what others think of me. “judge me all you want, but keep the verdict to yourself.” But whatever I do, I just don’t step on other people’s shoes and do not spit on other people’s life. I can do whatever I want with my life. This is my life. 🙂 And despite all this little controversy that I have with my personality, I still remain to be a Simple man. Overall I am happy with myself! 🙂

Some people like to judge and talk behind someone’s back. But I don’t like to judge people. What they are doing is their business. But if they need my help if I can I will. And If they spit on my life, it gonna be my business I have to take care of. When I see someone is good at the first place, I don’t say he or she is a good person, someone can pretend to be a good person, and when I see someone is rude or aggressive, I don’t say he or she is a bad person, because may be he or she just had a bad day. when it comes to judge people I have to spend a long time to get to know them well before judge that people, so it is not gonna be no misjudge.

What I am trying to say here is not to get more people like me or get more friends, I think I have enough friends that keep me busy enough!
Just want to share some ideas! 🙂

Personality is the traits that make you an individual. Character is an universal attribute. Like honesty or respect. You are born with personality but develop character. A person’s interests, can reflect his
or her character and personality.

The difference makes the world beautiful. It means that everyone is unique in his/her own way and don’t look down on someone who is different from you.

It’s easy to stand with the crowd. It takes courage to stand alone.

“Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it.” ~ Confucius
Only understanding, easy-going and open minded people that can see the beauty of my personality. My easy-going nature accepts more people into my life, but I choose to hang out with easy-going and understanding people only. Some friends are not easy to be their friends and some people are bad for my life! I don’t belong to difficult people world, and vice versa.

I just can’t expect them to understand me.

Knowing your value, if a man/woman doesn’t see that, he/she doesn’t deserve you.

You’ll understand when you get that level.

I read this story ” The Man, the Boy, and the Donkey” in Khmer language about ten years ago. I’ve applied this moral of the story in my life. Those words were spoken to me. You are born with personality but develop character.

You can’t please everyone

Once a man and his son were walking to the market with their donkey. A countryman noticed that the donkey was walking alongside them and laughed, “You fools, what is a donkey for but to ride upon?!”

So the man decided to put his son on the donkey and they went on their way. A little while later they passed a group of men. One of them said, “See that lazy youngster, he lets his father walk while he rides.”

The man then ordered the boy to get off, and got on himself. But they hadn’t gone far when they passed two women. One of them said to the other, “Shame on that lazy lout to let his poor little son trudge along.”

The man didn’t know what to do at first. He thought and thought and finally decided to put his son up in front of him on the donkey.

Soon they reached the town. There too the passers-by began to jeer and point at them. The man stopped and asked them what they were scoffing at. The people said, “Aren’t you ashamed of yourself for overloading that poor donkey?”

The man and the boy got off. They had to think of what to do all over again. At last they had an idea. They took a long pole and tied the donkey’s feet to it. Then they raised the pole to their shoulders and carried the donkey upside down.

They went along amid the laughter of all who met them till they came to the market bridge. The donkey accidentally got one of his feet loose and kicking out, caused the boy to drop his end of the pole.

In the struggle that followed, the poor donkey, with his forelegs tied together, fell over the bridge and drowned.

When you try to please everybody, you won’t please anybody.

Their Expectations May Be Based On A Narrow, Inaccurate View Of You

People make snap judgements in life: they might meet you briefly, and proceed to offer all sorts of advice based on an inaccurate assessment of who you are.

Families often fail to recognise how you’ve changed and grown over the years. They also tend to label you – and it’s easy to end up conforming to these labels because you believe them. “Oh, Bob’s always been the lazy one” or “Sue has her head in the clouds” or “Tom never could focus on anything.”

Frankly, you’re the only person in the world who knows what’s happening inside your head. You might have a huge amount of potential that no-one else recognises. Your parents or your friends might have pigeonholed you – but you know there’s more to you than what they see. Even if you do have plenty of habits and characteristics that you’d like to change, you have the ability to do that.

Your Values Could Be Wildly Different From Theirs

To me, this is the biggest problem with trying to meet other people’s expectations: they might have a completely different agenda to yours. Perhaps your dad thinks the most important thing you could do with your life is have a very secure career, whereas you value creative self-expression through poetry or art. No wonder that your dad wants you to “get a proper job – make the most of yourself” – but if you follow his advice to become an accountant or doctor or lawyer, you’re likely to be making yourself miserable.

Sometimes, you need to get clear about your own values and priorities: then you can figure out what you want to refocus your life around.

Your parents might think you’re crazy. Your friends might laugh at you. Your brother might call you a wishy-washy bleeding-heart hippy. Your old school pals might say you’ve sold out. Don’t ignore their advice … but don’t be afraid of what they think.

Stop Worrying About What Other People Think

Focused on things you are passionate about.

This book  “What Do You Care What Other People Think?” – a biographical account of episodes in Richard Feynman’s life. Those words were spoken to him by his wife, and perhaps they carry some indication of why Feynman became one of the best known scientists of the 20th century: he didn’t worry about what people thought of him.

Does your mental soundtrack go anything like this?

–    I don’t want to go out tonight, but Dave will think I’m boring if I stay in.

–    I can’t read a personal development book on the train – people will think there’s something wrong with me.

Just as no-one else in the world knows what goes on inside your head, you can’t lift a flap and peek inside their skull either. It really is a waste of time to worry what other people will be thinking: you’ll probably guess wrong, and (even if they put their thoughts into words, as a negative comment), their thoughts are very unlikely to have any real effect on you.

Beautiful Inspiring Story: A Little Girl and Her Father…

A little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.
The father was kind of scared So he asked his little daughter,
“Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that
You don’t fall into the river.”
The little girl said, “No,Dad. You hold my hand.”
“What’s the difference?”
Asked the puzzled father.
“There’s a big difference,” replied the little girl.
“If I hold your hand and something happens to me,
chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand,
I know for sure that no matter what happens,
you will never let my hand go.”
In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind,
but in its bond. So hold the hand of the person whom you love
rather than expecting them to hold yours…
This message is too short but carries
a lot of feelings its the best Thing….

Inspiring Story: King Genghis Khan And his Hawk..

Filed under: Stories with morals — dydara @ 8:56 am

Inspirational and Motivational World! 😀

We believe that the best way to improve everyone’s world is to help individuals to improve their own lives. As we improve our lives and help others on the way, the world naturally evolves. Our inspirational dream is to inspire everyone to give more and get more from life,we mean everyone. We have a big dream & place no limits on ourselves or others. Its our belief that posting positive mails creates positive difference inside us directly or indirectly.

Inspiring Story: King Genghis Khan And his Hawk..

One Morning Genghis Khan, the great king and warrior,
rode out into the woods to have a day’s sport. Many of his
friends were with him. They rode out gayly, carrying their
bows and arrows. Behind them came the servants with
the hounds.
It was a merry hunting party. The woods rang with their
shouts and laughter.
They expected to carry much game home in the evening.
On the king’s wrist sat his favorite hawk, for in those
days hawks were trained to hunt. At a word from
their masters they would fly high up into the air,
and look around for prey.
If they chanced to see a deer or a rabbit, they would
swoop down upon it swift as any arrow. All day long
Genghis Khan and his huntsmen rode through the woods.
But they did not find as much game as they expected.
Toward evening they started for home.
The king had often ridden through the woods, and he knew all
the paths. So while the rest of the party took the nearest way,
he went by a longer road through a valley between two mountains.
The day had been warm, and the king was very thirsty.
His pet hawk left his wrist and flown away. It would be
sure to find its way home.
The king rode slowly along. He had once seen a spring
of clear water near this pathway. If he could only find it now!
But the hot days of summer had dried up all the mountain brooks.
At last, to his joy, he saw some water trickling down over
the edge of a rock. He knew that there was a spring farther up.
In the wet season, a swift stream of water always poured down
here; but now it came only one drop at a time.
The king leaped from his horse. He took a little silver cup
from his hunting bag. He held it so as to catch the slowly
falling drops. It took a long time to fill the cup; and
the king was so thirsty that he could hardly wait. At last
it was nearly full. He put the cup to his lips, and was about to drink.
All at once there was a whirring sound in the air, and the cup
was knocked from his hands. The water was all spilled upon the ground.
The king looked up to see who had done this thing. It was his pet hawk.
The hawk flew back and forth a few times, and then alighted among
the rocks by the spring. The king picked up the cup, and again held
it to catch the trickling drops. This time he did not wait so long.
When the cup was half full, he lifted it toward his mouth.
But before it had touched his lips, the hawk swooped down again,
and knocked it from his hands. And now the king began to grow angry.
He tried again, and for the third time the hawk kept him from drinking.
The king was now very angry indeed.”How do you dare to act so?”
he cried. “If I had you in my hands, I would wring your neck!”
Then he filled his cup again. But before he tried to drink,
he drew his sword. “Now, Sir Hawk,” he said, “that is the last time.”
He had hardly spoken before the hawk swooped down
and knocked the cup from his hand. But the king was looking for this.
With a quick sweep of the sword he struck the bird as it passed.
The next moment the poor hawk lay bleeding and dying at its
master’s feet. “That is what you get for your pains,” said Genghis Khan.
But when he looked for his cup, he found that it had fallen
between two rocks, where he could not reach it.
“At any rate, I will have a drink from that spring,” he said to himself.
With that he began to climb the steep bank to the place from
which the water trickled. It was hard work, and the higher
he climbed, the thirstier he became. At last he reached
the place. There indeed was a pool of water; but what was that
lying in the pool, and almost filling it? It was a huge, dead snake of
the most poisonous kind. The king stopped. He forgot his thirst.
He thought only of the poor dead bird lying on the ground
below him.
“The hawk saved my life!” he cried, “and how did I repay him?
He was my best friend, and I have killed him.”   He clambered down
the bank. He took the bird up gently, and laid it in his hunting bag.
Then he mounted his horse and rode swiftly home. He said to himself,
Moral of the Story:
“I have learned a sad lesson today, and that is, never
to do anything in anger, Please don’t do any thing in anger,
which later on you have to repent for it. Be calm down
and control your anger.
If you can control one moment of anger, you can escape hundred days of sorrow. When anger rises think of the consequences. We need to consider our actions and what the consequences will be.

Holy Man

Holy Man

Word spread across the countryside about the wise Holy Man who lived in a small house atop the mountain. A man from the village decided to make the long and difficult journey to visit him.

When he arrived at the house, he saw an old servant inside who greeting him at the door.

“I would like to see the wise Holy Man,” he said to the servant.

The servant smiled and led him inside. As they walked through the house, the man from the village looked eagerly around the house, anticipating his encounter with the Holy Man.

Before he knew it, he had been led to the back door and escorted outside. He stopped and turned to the servant,

“But I want to see the Holy Man!”

“You already have,” said the old man. “Everyone you may meet in life, even if they appear plain and insignificant… see each of them as a wise Holy Man. If you do this, then whatever problem you brought here today will be solved.”

Building Bridges of Life

Filed under: Stories with morals — dydara @ 6:37 am

Building Bridges of Life

Once upon a time two brothers, who lived on adjoining farms, fell into conflict. It was the first serious rift in 40 years of farming side by side, sharing machinery, and trading labor and goods as needed without a conflict. Then the long collaboration fell apart. It began with a small misunderstanding and it grew into a major difference, and finally it exploded into an exchange of bitter words followed by weeks of silence.

One morning there was a knock on John’s door. He opened it to find a man with a carpenter’s tool box. “I’m looking for a few days’ work” he said. “Perhaps you would have a few small jobs here and there I could help with? Could I help you?” “Yes,” said the older brother. “I do have a job for you.”

“Look across the creek at that farm. That’s my neighbor; in fact, it’s my younger brother. Last week there was a meadow between us and he took his bulldozer to the river levee and now there is a creek between us. Well, he may have done this to spite me, but I’ll do him one better.”

“See that pile of lumber by the barn? I want you to build me a fence –an 8-foot fence — so I won’t need to see his place or his face anymore.” The carpenter said, “I think I understand the situation. Show me the nails and the post-hole digger and I’ll be able to do a job that pleases you.”

The older brother had to go to town, so he helped the carpenter get the materials ready and then he was off for the day. The carpenter worked hard all that day measuring, sawing, nailing. About sunset when the farmer returned, the carpenter had just finished his job.

The farmer’s eyes opened wide, his jaw dropped. There was no fence there at all. It was a bridge — a bridge stretching from one side of the creek to the other! A fine piece of work, handrails and all — and the neighbor, his younger brother, was coming toward them, his hand outstretched.

“You are quite a fellow to build this bridge after all I’ve said and done.” The two brothers stood at each end of the bridge, and then they met in the middle, taking each other’s hand.

They turned to see the carpenter hoist his toolbox onto his shoulder. “No, wait! Stay a few days. I’ve a lot of other projects for you,” said the older brother. “I’d love to stay on,” the carpenter said, but I have many more bridges to build.
